Family Promise of Summit County is pleased to welcome Meisha Greer to its Case Management Team!
Meisha was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Ohio to attend the University of Akron. Greer graduated from The University of Akron in 2018 with a B.A. in Child and Family Development, A.A. in Arts and Science, and a Parent and Family Certificate.
Meisha is the youngest of 7 kids. She worked at Akron Summit County Community Action as a Program Aid for a year and then became a Family Support Specialist prior to joining the Family Promise staff.
In her spare time, she likes to do adventurous things, explore new places and restaurants. Meisha is an avid reader and writer. She volunteers at Great Lakes Caring, a hospice agency. When she can, Meisha enjoys feeding the homeless or making hygiene bags for them. She is a new author, and recently published a book titled The Past Is What Made Me, But The Future Is What God Gave Me. The book has been out for 2 years and Meisha is very proud of her
self for writing this book.
