The 2011 – 100 Holes for the Homeless will be held again this year in  September. Information on the date and golf coarse will be announced soon. Family Promise of Summit County (FPSC) and the children and families facing homelessness would like to ask you to participate in a very unique event in September, 2011. “100 Holes for the Homeless” is a marathon golf event. You will receive a cart, 100 holes of golf, food, drinks and praise throughout the day! While you’re having all of this fun, you’ll be making a tremendous difference by providing aid to many of our less fortunate families and their children right here in Summit County.

Over 4,000 people each year experience homelessness in our county and 40% of them are children. Family Promise / IHNSC is committed to helping these families with food, safe shelter and case management during their time of crisis.

We rely on a network of over 30 faith-based organizations of all denominations to provide lodging, food and volunteers. We are NOT a “nightly homeless shelter”. We are a program for children and families facing homelessness.

Family Promise is a 501 (c)3 non-profit that is partially funded by grants and congregational support. However, that only accounts for a percentage of our operating budget.
